1. Purpose

These Terms define the basic conditions for using SEONIK Research Engine 1.0, including accountless startup-information research, conversational answers, official sources, related information, and follow-up questions.

2. Nature of the service

SEONIK is a private research service that researches, organizes, and summarizes public startup programs, competitions, education, spaces, and related information. It is not an official government or public institution service and does not guarantee selection, funding, revenue, application success, or any particular outcome.

3. Accountless Public Use

SEONIK does not provide sign-in, membership accounts, or personal conversation records and schedules that are permanently stored on its servers. Research is available only to users in South Korea who are 18 or older. Before starting, users must confirm they are 18 or older and expressly agree to these Terms. The confirmation session includes only the current Terms version and does not collect a date of birth or identity information. The current conversation and Research room list are temporarily kept in the current browser tab so they can continue after refresh, and are removed when you delete them or after two hours of inactivity. Some browsers can restore a closed tab, so do not enter sensitive information and delete the conversation after use.

4. User responsibilities

Users must not attack, abuse, disrupt, or make abnormal automated requests to the service, bypass access controls, infringe others' rights, or violate applicable law. Do not enter your own or another person's personal or sensitive information in the search box.

5. Information verification

Answers and related information that research official facts are organized from public official sources and Evidence available to SEONIK. Casual conversation and general product guidance may not include an official source. Users must verify deadlines, eligibility, audience, support details, required documents, operating status, and application methods on the original notice and with the responsible institution. External source pages may change, move, or become unavailable.

6. Automated information organization

SEONIK Research Engine 1.0 interprets the question, researches allowed official information, and shows how grounded facts connect to sources. A selected region, support area, and startup stage make the question more specific and do not automatically determine eligibility or selection prospects. SEONIK internally adjusts research scope and response length according to the question, but this does not guarantee accuracy or completeness. Voice dictation uses browser or operating-system speech recognition, so users must review and correct transcription errors and personal information before submitting. Stopping Research stops the on-screen wait and attempts to cancel the request, but does not guarantee immediate termination of processing already delivered to an external processor. The service labels answer output as generated and organized by generative AI. When evidence is insufficient, it may answer only within the confirmed scope or ask for an additional condition. It is not legal or financial advice and does not guarantee eligibility, selection, approval, or results.

7. Sources and rights

Rights in official information and public data remain with the respective provider or rights holder. Materials permitting commercial use, including Korea Open Government License Type 1 materials, still require attribution, and separate permission may be needed for embedded third-party rights. The answer-sharing tool includes the SEONIK answer and the provider, title, and official link of validated official sources, while excluding Google-grounded results, Search Suggestions, and their Links. Users must comply with the original source's copyright and use conditions, and attribution does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by the provider.

8. Privacy and analytics choice

Personal-data and optional analytics processing follow the Privacy Policy. Analytics begins only after explicit permission, and declining does not affect access to core features.

9. Changes or suspension

SEONIK may change or temporarily suspend service content, features, or operations. Important changes will be announced through the service where reasonably possible.

10. Limitation of liability

SEONIK does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information. Users are responsible for final decisions and original-source verification. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. External reasoning component and result verification

SEONIK Research Engine 1.0 may use an external AI model and Google Search Grounding as replaceable components. Google Grounded Results and associated Search Suggestions are displayed together, unchanged, only to the user who submitted the prompt and in a separate area from SEONIK's official-information answer. SEONIK does not analyze, store, index, crawl from, resell, or track clicks on Grounded Results, Search Suggestions, or their Links. The answer-sharing tool includes only SEONIK's generated and organized answer and the provider, title, and official link of validated official sources; it does not copy or share Google Grounded Results, Search Suggestions, or their Links with another user. Optional Google Analytics is also stopped on a screen that displays a Google-grounded result so interactions with that result, its suggestions and Links, and answer feedback are not recorded as Analytics events. Rights in linked web documents, trademarks, and content remain with their respective owners. Official-source selection, tool execution, calculations, Evidence mapping, cost caps, and claim verification remain within SEONIK's control boundary. AI-generated explanations may contain errors or omissions and are not legal or financial advice or a guarantee of eligibility or business success. Verify material decisions against the linked official source and responsible institution. Public Research is currently limited to connections from South Korea and users aged 18 or older; it is not directed to children.
